5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, quiet, accurate, September 26, 2010

Received this watch as a gift, bit of a skeleton watch fan. I have an Invicta Skeleton and it never kept time accurately, the hour and minute hands never lined up at 12:00, etc. This is everything the more expensive Invicta should have been.

I've gotten numerous nice comments on it from coworkers, and it's my favorite daily wear watch at the moment. If you like the look, you can't go wrong with this one.

I've had it for a little over 5 months now, and the only instance where I've needed to reset the time were the ones where I let it unwind after a few days of not wearing it. Keeps time as well as a quartz (from my inattentive perception, anyway), but looks a lot sexier.

Note: This watch, while not a delicate flower, isn't some mil-spec monster that can take being run over by a tank without a scratch. I've been a bit too inattentive at times in rough environments and put a few scratches and scrapes in the metal. So don't go around scraping it... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good, July 28, 2011

Size and Shape:
The diameter is 1.5", which is large, but not horrible if your wrists are big. The bigger problem was how tall the case is; it sticks up very far from your wrist and interferes with sleeves, putting on jackets, and cuffs of shirts. Also, the watch mechanical parts only extend about 1" in diameter, then the see-through ring around the edge (you will see your skin through it) is just extra space to make the watch face bigger, and doesn't house any parts.

Defective Movement:
When I first got the watch, it worked fine and did 4 ticks of the second hand per second. This is a nice feature, since you can watch the gears / parts swing back and forth twice for each second, and the second hand itself appears to be a continuous-drive one, since the 1/4-second ticks are small. After only about 2-3 days, problems with the second hand started developing, and it would stutter or "hang" at several points in each 1-minute revolution. There are videos of this... Read more

The picture does not do justice for this watch. The quality is very high for a watch of this price and being an automatic, you don't need to replace the batteries... ever. The face is a little larger than I expected but it looks very classy. The time is easy to tell despite the "busy" skeleton face. I am really happy with this purchase and will wear this one often.
